  • Copy of passport with arrival card
  • From the respective embassy, an affidavit regarding marital status is required.
  • Get a translated affidavit copy in Thai from a Foreign ministry translator 
  • Then proceed with the documents to the Legalization Division of the Consular Affairs department, and get an authentication on the Consular official’s signature (It takes around 2 days).
  • Next, submit all these to the District registrar, Your marriage will be registered and a marriage certificate will be issued in accordance with Thai law.
