Italy recognizes Civil and Religious weddings Legally. All religious weddings required a civil ceremony to be legally binding ( except catholic). A mixed religious wedding will be allowed only if your Parish bishop approves it.

  • an Atto Notorio signed by two witnesses
  • a declaration of intended marriage filed at the registry office
