• Valid passports
• Birth Certificates in long form
• External (foreigner) form, if you and the partner are foreigners
• In the case of any previous marriage, you must provide divorce papers or a death certificate related to the former spouse.
• Certificate of Martial status
• Certificate of no impediment
• Registration of marriage from the town hall or registrar's office 

***All the documents must be translated into Spanish. Along with this, it can take up to 4 months to receive a formal approval. 

There are two types of weddings legally recognized in Seville: Civil and Religious

A Civil Ceremony will require you to be a resident of Spain for at least two years before the ceremony day if you are a foreigner. With that, you must submit all the documents discussed above. The couples should bring along witnesses during the registration.  

Seville also recognizes one kind of religious ceremony: Roman Catholic weddings.
